Fifth Avenue has been prepared for holiday events through the season with barriers and other ways of control and safety as the year nears the end. St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center and many retail outlets are situated down and widen out from Fifth Avenue.
Lighting of the Rockefeller Center tree attracted huge crowds as well as preparation of the upcoming New Year celebrations. Barriers help to maintain safety for both pedestrians and automobiles along with other city guidelines and the protection of the NYPD and other officiating offices.
