Saturday night (August 29) METALLICA presented a Drive-In concert presented by Encore Drive-In Nights. James Hetfield the front man was on stage and said “It feels good to play again.” The concert was taped a few weeks earlier at the Gundlach Bundschu winery in California.
The heavy-metal band was broadcast to over 300 drive-in and outdoor theaters throughout the United States and Canada. Parking spaces were set up to create distancing between vehicles and allow many attending to set up folding chairs outside their vehicle to watch. The band started out with performing “Hardwired,” ” For Whom The Bell Tolls” and ending the concert after 16 songs with “Enter Sandman.”
METALLICA’S opening act was Three Days Grace formed in 1997 and is a Canadian Rock Band. Three Days Grace is based in Toronto and has produced six studio albums.
