Garth Brooks Drive-In Concert

*Garth Brooks held a virtual concert at 300 drive-ins across the country.  Hundreds of cars parked at each location to watch the concert – “the first-of-its kind theater concert drive-in on screen”.  Participants were required to practice the social distancing guidelines and cars were spread six feet apart.  Tickets were sold out immediately the day they were offered for the evening show.

Fans appreciated the chance to be outside and hear their favorite performer *Garth Brooks with friends and family.  Attendees arrived hours early to get as close to the screen as possible. Screens were set up at venues for fans to watch from their cars as they had the music sounding from the cars and extra radios.  Horn honking took place of the normal applause in a live concert hall.  The Red River Valley Fair in West Fargo, North Dakota had two screens set up for viewing and picture-perfect weather.

*Garth Brooks opened the concert with “Ain’t Goin’ Down (Til the Sun Comes Up)” and ended the evening with “The Dance.”
