New York City showcased the top “all-American” dog finals with a border Collie named “Pink” taking the trophy for Westminster Agility Championship. Westminster allows mixed-breed dogs to compete in agility and calls them “all-American” dogs. Over 300 dogs entered the complete sold-out competition at Pier 94 in New York City.
The competition showcased the perfection that the handlers and dogs have with a series of obstacles in a course that intensifies the perfection that is necessary to compete at this level. Westminster had the layout of the course set to perfection and then it came down to the fastest dog that makes the course in the shortest timeframe without a mistake. “Pink” carried out a perfection of running the course with jumps, weaves and more with best in time.
