Times Square New Year’s Eve

Weather was a great improvement over the past few years with warmer temperature and no snow; about 20 minutes of light rain showed but did not dampen the party.  Security was high with the use of all types of coverage that protected over a million of revelers that came out to enjoy watching the ball drop at midnight.

Ryan Seacrest with ABC for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve appeared throughout the evening, special guests presented the Hourly Countdown such as Steve Harvey and others.  Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen were announcing Live throughout the evening for CNN.

Performances were by Post Malone, Sam Hunt, BTS and The Village People breaking the world record of the largest number of people participating at once the “YMCA” dance.  The Ball made it’s drop on time at midnight as everyone celebrated the entrance of 2020.  Times Square is known as the largest iconic celebration in America and with the intense security was successful for all that came out to celebrate.
