Rollag, Minnesota has held the annual Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion for 66 years. Over 50 thousand people per day had been attending the event that featured 2,000 exhibitors run by volunteers and festival staff. J.I. Case equipment and implements was the featured product this year. Hundreds of other vintage tractors and steam engines were available for the public to see how they were still operating.
The main street was packed each day for the steam engine and tractor parade that was held twice. The evening had the skies lit up by a steam powered “spark show.” There was music happening at various points of the grounds as well as dancing. Train rides around the grounds were continually allowing people to climb on board to ride. All kinds of homemade food was being served throughout the day.
