United States Air Force Thunderbirds performance on Saturday and Sunday showcased the precision that they are noted for. Thousands of people came out each day to see close-up all the events at the Fargo Airport. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds last time performed in Fargo 30 years ago.
Opening events included skydiving with recognition of the Canadian flag and the American flag. The B-52 did a fly over, performances with YAK 110; the three-engine combination, Jeff Boerboon, Kirby Chambliss Team for the Red Bull, Navy “Leap Frogs” parachute jump and more packed events.
Major General Darrol Schroeder was honored this year after passing away. Schroeder was one of the founders for the first AirSho and the Fargo Air Museum.
