Last year New Year’s Eve was one of the coldest in history and this year it was certainly a sustained wet rain. Revelers were not deterred by the rain and came out by the thousands early in the day maintaining their space to stand. The crowd, as expected was down in numbers because of the weather but still was large by any standards. Ryan Seacrest was the host of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in New York’s Times Square.
Christina Aguilera came out on the Countdown Stage in a glamorous white outfit to give an amazing performance from her greatest hits. Aguilera closed the evening with her flawless voice. Other artists that performed earlier included Bastille, New Kids On The Block, Dan + Shay and more.
