Thousands of fans packed the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota for Metallica. The Venue was filled to near capacity with all ages represented to hear the music. The last time Metallica performed in Grand Forks was nearly 30 years ago. The band’s stage was in the center so the members could circle throughout the four points for all the fans in the Arena to see their performance. The strong performance rocked with lighting effects, ceiling drop down box design and just pure passion of performance.
Opening act Comedian Jim Breuer got the crowd going. Next to the main arena a couple was holding their wedding reception at the same time. Breuer was able to convince the couple to come on stage and have their first dance before Metallica’s performance
