
Las Vegas, Nevada – The annual Trade Show – SHOT Show had over 2,850 exhibitors and more than 54,000 industry professionals attending the 47th annual show at the Venetian Expo + Caesars Forum. The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) was founded in 1961 and represents hunting and shooting sports as well as law enforcement and security industries were represented at the show.
The day before the SHOT Show, Industry Day at the Range, gave members and buyers an opportunity to preview the latest gear and test the gadgets. Over 135 exhibitors and an attendance of over 2,350 were at the range.
Educational classes were presented for retailers and law enforcement. The Trade Show helps to fund project ChildSafe, Operation Secure Store, with programs like +One as well as efforts with government efforts to safeguard the rights of firearm owners and industry. The industry of $8.9 billion supports 384,000 jobs nationwide with an economic impact total of more than 90.1 billion.
The NSSF Hall of Fame named three new industry leaders. 2025 inductees: Robert Delfay, Richard Hammett and Arthur Wheaton. The prestigious Ken Sedlecky Lifetime Achievement Award to Jeff Reh, who served four decades at Beretta USA Corp; General Counsel and member of NSSF Board of Governors for 20+ years.
