Minneapolis, MN – Basilica of St. Mary Block Party “Day One of Two” was packed with fans at the new venue location at Boom Island Park. A strong lineup filled two stages with a full day and evening of continual music. Packed grounds with multi-thousands of fans enjoying bands such as Yam Haus, Red Clay Strays, Dean Lewis, The Fray and Closing act Goo Goo Dolls.
Day two begins at 12:30 with multiple acts including; Guytano, Ingrid Andress, Phillip Phillips, Judah & The Lions, Needtobreathe, final act Counting Crows.
The new location after two-year break gave the venue larger grounds for space to expand and accommodate attendees with amenities for one of the area’s most popular events. The location has great skyline view and runs along the Mississippi River. Previous location was held on the grounds at the Basilica. Funds raised are used for the maintenance of the Basilica and outreach services.
