Total solar eclipse pathway viewed by millions

Cleveland, Ohio – Crowds cheered as the solar eclipse pathway began in Mexico and made it’s way northward in North America to Ohio and reached to Niagara Falls at the U.S-Canadian border.

Over 32 million people were in the pathway of the eclipse on Monday.  The cosmic event brought large gatherings of spectators to view the rare event.   The moon completely blocked the sun making the street lights come on for a short time and temperatures drop.  Ohio last total solar eclipse occurred in 1806.

The next North American total solar eclipse will occur in 20 years; 2024.
