Washington DC – August 28th, Monday marked the 60thAnniversary of Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) march with speech “I Have a Dream.” August 28, 1963 over 250,000 people, mostly black, marched in Washington DC.
2023 Saturday before the Anniversary tens of thousands gathered to commemorate the 60 years that the speech “I Have a Dream” was given by Marin Luther King Jr. Civil rights activist, Rev. Al Sharpton was one of this year organizers. Sharpton is ahead of the National Action Network and co-hosted with nonprofit Drum Major Institute. A number of speakers were presented at the anniversary calling for an end of hate.
