Farming future unveiled by John Deere

Las Vegas – John Deere had a large presence showcasing their revolutionizing technology in farming at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Fertilizing has become more precise and targeted with sensors placing fertilizer exactly on the seeds as planted in the soil.  ExactShot is expected to save million of gallons of starter fertilizer per year.

Autonomous tractors are performing in the field without operators in the cab.  The tractors are equipped with GPS, cameras and sensors to allow a technically accurate performance in the field.  Farmers can operate the tractor with their smartphones.  This will give farmers a way to complete performing all tasks with the increasing challenge of labor shortage.

John Deere was recipient of CES 2023 Innovation Awards Best Innovation honoree in Robotics category and honoree in Vehicle Tech & Advanced Mobility category for its fully autonomous tractor.
