New York – Honoring the fallen victims on the 21st anniversary of the deadliest attack in the United States history took place today, September 11th. The ground zero ceremony began with reading the names of the nearly 3,000 men, women and children that died.
First responders from the NYPD and FDNY ran into the towers and died on 9/11 trying to save the victims that were in the towers that came down. The exposure to the toxic air is still claiming lives today as the first responders and other victims still live with illness related to destruction of the towers.
al Qaeda hijackers flew planes into the New York’s World Trade Center towers creating the collapse of the North and South Towers, the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia and a plane that crashed near Shanksville,Pennsylvania after crew members and passengers stopped the hijackers.
