North Dakota plans to install 18 EV charging stations on the freeways of I94 and I29 every 50 miles. The closeness to the Interstate was an important part of the design; location within a mile of the exit.
Number of challenges are being worked on to make the electric car the vehicle to buy in order to help lower the emissions that are being released into the air. More chargers, plugs, shortening the charging time, costs and increasing the longer driving distance are some of the features.
