Governor Doug Burgum outlined the continual growth that the state of North Dakota has achieved at the 2022 State of the State address. The speech was given at the Fargo Theatre that lasted two hours. Gov. Burgum highlighted the opportunities that the state is reaching out to keep and maintain the growing population from the young as well as older adults through education, agriculture, energy, autonomous technology and more. Burgum expressed the fast growth that North Dakota has achieved in 2022 and levels for the future being unlimited.
North Dakota is on the path of carbon neutral by 2030. New facilities have been announced the last year for a soybean crushing plant $350 million in Spiritwood, $1.9 billion cryptocurrency data mining center by Williston amongst others. Burgum addressed the need for affordable child care, medical care and the need of more workers.
Burgum ended the speech with quoting Edward Everett Hale; “Coming Together is a Beginning, Keeping Together is Progress, Working Together is Success.”
