Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade returns

The streets were packed by a huge crowd for the full return of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.  2021 was the year of the 95th annual parade that came down Central Park West, passing Columbus Circle on 59th Street and then heading down Sixth Avenue to 34th Street; Macy’s base. Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and elves ended the parade with the welcoming of the Holiday Season for all.

Huge character balloons filled the parade plus 10 marching bands, 15 giant character balloons, 36 novelty and heritage inflatables, 28 floats with a number of celebrities; Rob Thomas, Joe Batiste, Boomer rockers Foreigner, Miss America , Kelly Rowland, Andy Grammer and more.

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is at the top of one of the world’s largest parades.  The parade started in 1924.
