The past time sport of Clay pigeon shooting has been increasing through the time as a great way to properly learn how to handle a shotgun and improve the ability of targeting an object. There are various ways to incorporate all uniqueness associated with Clay pigeon shooting in a properly set up in an open field allow a shooter to shoot in safe conditions on a target.
Single or double targets are thrown from one or more traps at least 15 m in front of the shooter. Targets have different shapes but are usually in the shape of an inverted saucer. The colors are usually orange or black but sometimes white and yellow are combined.
1875 clay targets began to replace the use of live pigeons. 1921 it became illegal to shoot birds from traps by the British parliament.
