WE Fest ends with a positive future for 2022

Detroit Lakes, Minn.  –  WE Fest fans came out in force to show the new owners their support for not only the present weekend but the next years to come.  Taking a year off for transition Matt Mithun the new owner and Live Nation wanted to start off with a successfully organized first year.  Mark Bjerke was named General Manager who brought with him a past history of being with WE Fest prior to 2016.  A strong goal of all the groups involved was to bring back the comfortable past feeling that WE Fest grew to be known for.

Many past security people were brought back as well as support workers and crew to fulfill positions for the festival. The coordinated efforts for the first year looked strong with at least 20,000 plus people in attendance staying late past the main Headliners. A strong lineup each day from beginning to the final call of Headliners; Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bently and Blake Shelton.

Performers starting to be signed up for 2022 include Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert.  More additional stage updates will be completed for 2022 to accommodate the projected large increase of attendance next year.
