Todd Rundgren headlined Moondance Rock & Roll

Closing performance for Friday evening at the 30th Anniversary Moondance Rock & Roll was Todd Rundgren who will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.  Rundgren has performed as a solo artist and as a member of the band Utopia.  He started out the show with two diverse unorthodox pieces and modulated into many other styles to a full packed arena of fans.

The lineup on the main stage before Rundgren was high-powered with music that reached all arrays of style of music for a fun packed evening starting with Crow, LIT, Foghat.  Crowds were large from the beginning to the closing evening.   A tribute was shown in the evening on the large Jumbotron to Bill Bieloh, founder of Moondance and a look at the last 30 years anniversary.  Kathy Bieloh took over after Bill’s passing since 2010.

Final evening lineup for the main stage; Thunderstruck, Grand Funk Railroad, Don Felder, Cheap Trick.  Three other stages performing music for a continual day/evening of music.
